History: Halander hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Halander alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Description: This man is very fat, and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His blonde hair is lengthy. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 4'2" and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and elven compassion

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears bulky blue painted plate armor. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
