Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mary will drive conversation. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Mary was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. He wears his chestnut hair down. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: She prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Azza grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Azza. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Description: This western man wears silk and lounges about seductively. His clothes are grease stained in places. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
