She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has a crush on the local mortician

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Junk Dealer. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ortegar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ortegar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Stannor has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
