Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Nordak was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nordak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nordak. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
