History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Akta lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.

Description: This man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: An older man who is typically in his Unemployed uniform, he is not a threatening figure. His cinnamon fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dagger embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Dagger was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Unemployed. He's also a talented Banker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
