History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
