History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Emen is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Stableman but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Emen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Torinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and money/treasure
