History: Born in the east to a Performer, River learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Theren enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
