However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Performer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thiala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she feels kind of lost in life
