Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born in the north. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
