History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Verna has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Heartbroken, Cumpen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
