History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lavinia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Sculptor like his mother before him.
