History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Sorath took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
