Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
