Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her youth she was a Mortician, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sarah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. After a long history of fighting, Shax and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
