History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She is wearing a tight green one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines black.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Nija was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She dresses like a well dressed Bookbinder does. She has no hair. She has a dull look in her green eyes.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a mayor again

Description: This dark-skinned female wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her broad grey hat.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Ella was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Half-Orc compassion; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
