History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She's in love; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Portia was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
