Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gorbundus studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Gorbundus and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Banker, but she was a colossal failure. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to be a banker again

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
