Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He very much looks the part of a Navigator. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She tends to her Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and money/treasure

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Orla is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north. Her first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to raise her children well

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
