History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's in love.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Fortune-teller business.

History: Fax hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her black hair is knotted and matted. Her half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Miller but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Miller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
