History: Murook was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She became a Dilettante soon after.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her first spouse was a Shepherd, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
