When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oriel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Eggren is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Eggren lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Engraver, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thradal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Thradal and his spouse have recently divorced.

She is a dedicated Merchant but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Burana was born with her father's beautiful face. Through the years after Burana was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Burana's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
