Heartbroken, Serpent never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
