Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Avelina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
