History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. Lance was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lance decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Roger was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has worked as a Engraver like her mother before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
