History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has worked as a Guard like her father before her.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
