Description: He is a mite stocky and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Don fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Apothecary business.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His golden hair is braided into rings. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his top black hat.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Architect. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Architect responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
