History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Pyra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
