History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gnarsh was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a sailor and was forced into it by her family
