Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tod grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tod. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Personality: Curran speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Curran learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Curran has worked very hard to control his curse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Norûk has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
