History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now owns her own business.

History: Lidda was born the youngest of three triplets. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
