History: Cloak lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She married young, but lost her spouse to illithids. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
