Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born in the north. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
