History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Althaea was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.
