Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Quelenna enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quelenna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and revenge

She has styled her black hair well, parting it to the right. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and regain custody of her son

Description: This late middle aged man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle and is in decent physical shape. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep silver.

Personality: Marbas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a roofer again

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She is portly but not overly obese. Her golden hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs; and someone believes her a fraud
