Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Hrathy wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Hrathy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
