Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Suhnae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She wears baggy tan pantaloons and a black scarf. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair is short and white. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is a Mayor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Maiathah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Maiathah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and further expansion of business

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
