History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rivaan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

Personality: Robert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Robert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Robert. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
