History: Naeris was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Helja does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Helja never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Rangrim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rangrim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
