Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Hethress lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Hethress and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Emen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
