History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Crown-heir. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Bella was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Umpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
