History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Corkitron liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Emma lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Hobart is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter
