Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and many brigands want her driven away

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Miles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
