Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Beast was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Beast's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and further expansion of business

Description: An older woman who dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head, she is not a threatening figure. Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Her crest is blue, silky, and of moderate length. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bather. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to be a crown-heir again
