History: She was born in a small island village. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: Mary hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her father struggled to pay the bills. Mary liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a roofer and was forced into it by her family
