Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
