Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Kelter was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He stands about 3'3" and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He takes great joy in being the best Unemployed in town.

History: Delebean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Delebean abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has worked as a Unemployed like his mother before him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This malnourished woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her silver hair is singed and shortened. Her gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: An older woman who wears bulky white painted plate armor, she is not a threatening figure. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dee was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a white cloak and cross-gartered pastel stockings. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job
