History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. After a long history of fighting, Paelias and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Jheri is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He got into the Laborer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He has never given up on his painting dream.
