History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with his Miner father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: William was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This tall, slender man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gimgen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.
