Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and red handkerchief worn on his left side. His tied-back hair is auburn. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Efferil was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

Description: This woman is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. This yellow eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and wants to raise her children well

Description: She stands about 6'2" and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. She keeps her blue hair in a pixie cut. This silver eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Seere was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: She has a missing right leg. She wears a tattered pair of loose violet pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her black hair is lengthy. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 32. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Ruler, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many illithids want her driven away
